Continuing Education
Continuing education for licensed professionals, held inside the service area.
Requirements Met Close to Home
For a clinician in a rural county, continuing education has a travel cost attached to it that clinicians in cities do not pay. We run sessions inside the service area so that meeting a licensure requirement does not mean a day lost on the road.
Recent sessions have focused on pain management and opioid prescribing — an area where West Virginia licensure requirements and clinical practice have both moved quickly.

Our Partner: Project ECHO
We partner with Project ECHO through the West Virginia Clinical and Translational Science Institute (WVCTSI) to extend specialist knowledge into underserved communities. ECHO connects local providers with expert teams through virtual clinics, turning “one to many” mentoring into better patient outcomes — without anyone leaving their community.
